Just did a quick test:
Answer model: MiniMax-M3
Evaluation model: MiniMax-M2.7-highspeed
Data: SimpleQA, fixed random sample of 32 questions, seed 20260803
Results: 3 correct, 13 incorrect, 16 unanswered
Reference-anchored accuracy: 9.375%
Usage: Answer model 7,211 tokens; Evaluation model 10,823 tokens
Time taken: about 9 minutes 12 seconds
This shows that under the current configuration of “no online search allowed, short fact-based answers required,” this model has limited coverage on this set of random long-tail fact questions.
