Copilot Removes GPT-4.1 and GPT-4o, Free Access Officially Over

Previously, Copilot Pro users had unlimited access to certain models, such as GPT-4.1 and GPT-4o. NL’s translations relied heavily on this free service.

Recently, I suddenly noticed that all translation features stopped working. It turns out Copilot has removed these free models.

Copilot now offers no cost-effectiveness at all. The Pro subscription includes only a small number of credits, and a single question can consume up to 10%. Even if you purchase 10x or more credit packages, they run out in just a few uses.

Comparatively, using the official service is much more stress-free. There are no monthly limits, and there’s also an opportunity to reset your balance.

No… I was actually still using this recently…

My translation got messed up too.

Is that Microsoft’s Copilot?

Just grab any on-site M365 reverse proxy to use. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Try mimo!
It works incredibly well for chatting, moderation, and translation.

It can’t handle that much traffic—tens of thousands of requests a day.

No wonder they said my translation isn’t working.

Once the free 4.1 is gone, those few credits they give you really don’t last.

The Business plan also includes unlimited instant access.

Will it return a 429?

The web generally shouldn’t return a 429, right?

I need two APIs, since we’re dealing with pretty high concurrency.

I canceled Copilot Pro after just two months. It’s been a massive pain in the ass since the changes.
