I made a minimal riscv64 Linux system build template

Project address: GitHub - runoneall/rv64linux: tiny riscv64 linux · GitHub

This build includes the Linux kernel kernel.bin and the root filesystem rootfs.ext4. Only a minimal set of features and PCI / PCIe support are enabled, making it very convenient to customize based on this build.

The README includes a sample boot command that automatically downloads kernel.bin and rootfs.ext4, then boots using qemu-system-riscv64.

How much storage space and memory does it use?

128 MB of memory is a breeze; kernel.bin is 5.12 MB, and rootfs.ext4 is 3.39 MB

Tested it: with 16 MB of memory, startup takes <1s; 6276K is reserved, leaving 9264K available for applications.

This is pretty good.

Great technical sharing—impressive!
